After attending your class, I have realized some important insights. In my opinion, the use of technology in primary school teaching and learning session is effective because it integrates the latest technology into the existing curriculum to be taught to the school children. In this way, the teacher provides pupils with exposure to the technology that is available in the real world. Besides that it also makes the lesson more interesting as for example by the use of animation or special effects as teaching aids during the teaching and learning session in the classroom. It will be easier for the pupils to understand the concepts and skills as well as enable the teacher to sustain pupils’ interest.
However, there are several flaws too that I had identified. Apart from the advantages side, technology has its drawback as for example, if there is no electricity then the teacher cannot use whatever he or she had prepared on the computer during the teaching session in the classroom. In the end he or she has to fall back to the traditional methods by using paper and chalk to teach. Supposedly the teacher should always have a back up plan in order to cope with anything that might happen.
Other than that, as far as I am concerned not many teachers possess the knowledge and skills in ICT. This is very glaring especially in the rural area. The teacher is still using the traditional chalk and blackboard method to teach. Sometimes, the teacher intend to incorporate technology in their lesson but somehow they cannot use the technology such as LCD to project the slide due to the lack of these facilities in school. To overcome this, the teacher have to be trained by the expert continuously in order to ensure that they are well equipped with the latest IT knowledge and skills. Government should also upgraded the rural school with these gadgets in order to make the teaching and learning much more meaningful and efficient.

so..as a conclusion teacher must always ready to any situation rite? backup plan is a must..n never forget the traditional method of teaching because sometimes tech cannot beat the impact that traditional methods bring to the pupils..i think so..hehe
